Jessica Mosher is an energetic and feisty Canadian & American actress and award-winning writer based in New York City.
She is passionate about telling warm, witty and deeply human stories that delight audiences, hopefully utilizing dialects or physical comedy. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Theatre and History from Queen's University in Kingston, ON, and continued her training in the two year conservatory program at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC. She is a regularly performing cast member with the comedy group The Drunk Texts, and is also an AFAA certified group fitness instructor and NASM certified personal trainer, in case you need help with your squats.
As a writer, she has won the Austin Film Festival Screenplay Competition and has been named a fiction finalist at the Tucson Festival of Books Literary Awards. She was awarded a Core Residency in Screenwriting at Millay Arts in 2024 and is an incoming MFA Candidate in Creative Writing (Fiction) at Bennington College, Class of 2027. More on her writing HERE.

She has also been recognized as a fiction finalist at the Tucson Festival of Books Literary Awards, been awarded a Core Residency at Millay Arts, and named a finalist for the Edith Wharton-Straw Dog Writer’s Guild Residency.
